The Phantom of the Opera

STORY
The Phantom of the Opera is based on the novel by Gaston Leroux. It tells the story of the hideously deformed Phantom who lurks beneath the stage of the Paris Opera, exercising a reign of terror over its occupants. The phantom falls in love with the young Soprano devoting himself to creating a new star for the Opera by nurturing her extraordinary talents and employing all the skills at his disposal.

The phantom demands that Christine is made the lead, but when his demands aren't met, he kills the stagehand and steals Carlotta's voice. In the meantime Raoul and Christine have fallen in love (and are keeping their engagement a secret). The Phantom has made a play- 'Don Juan Triumphant' and gives it to the manager. Planning to capture the phantom they plan for the production. In the end, the Phantom gives Christine a choice- stay with him forever or he kills Raoul.
