What we have here is a generator that allows Prime Time Adventures producers without much time on their hands a way to generate a plot for their episodes very quickly. Of course, it uses hackneyed cliches and common TV plot devices to flesh out a simple plot outline. If you want better, you're left to your own devious imagination.
But, if you've got some writer's block, you can use the outline this generates to at least get your episode moving. It tells you an opening scene within a vague setting, a guest star you can use* for the episode and an early scene you can build around each of the protagonists. Finally, it gives you an idea what the main action of the episode and its turning point might be.
*As a kind of optional rule, I let players in my Prime Time Adventures games enter scenes for free if they play a guest star, a nemesis or the connection of whatever protagonist framed the scene. It makes the producer's job a lot easier and gives the players even more control, which fits my gaming goals just perfectly!
