Jen and I arrived in Frankfurt, Germany on September 22, 1999.  We rented a car and drove to Kitzingen to stay with my uncle Juergen and his family.  Juergen and his family took us to see the castle Marienberg.  The castle is located on a hill overlooking Wuerzburg, which is the city where I was born.

We visited my grandparents, which also live in Kitzingen.

For most of my childhood I lived in Gerbrunn, which lies right next to Wuerzburg.  We visited Gerbrunn to see the house where I lived.  After our visit to Wuerzburg we drove to Heidelberg.

I lived outside of Heidelberg in the small town of Altenbach.  I lived there just before my family and I moved to the United States.  We visited the Heidelberger Schloss and walked up and down the Hauptstrasse.  We then went to visit my aunt Birgit and her family in Lindenfels.

Birgit took us up to the castle ruins.  It was great.  We then went to the Luisenpark in Mannheim with Birgit and her two sons

The last city we visited was Munich, where my friend Bryan lives.  We had the pleasure in celebrating the Oktoberfest in Munich.

We hope you have fun exploring our trip through the wonderful pictures we have taken.
