Moria School Project

After six months of collaborative work, a joint project of FAB 8’s Community Relations Department and Moria High School in Jerusalem. This project came to a successful close, marked this week by a ceremony attended by Knesset Member Shaul Yahalom, senior officials from the Education Ministry, Moria students, and their parents. The Moria project was developed and guided by Yoram Haim, a Master degree student in education, and aided by volunteers from FAB 8’s Security Department.

During the course of the project the students gained Internet expertise together with subjects in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and technology.
The highlight of the project was Web sites building on such subjects as juvenile onset diabetes, school vandalism, sites for various volunteer organizations, an Ethiopian heritage site (built by a student who immigrated from Ethiopia three years ago), Jerusalem’s Bukharian Quarter, music sites, and others.

Knesset Member Yahalom said in his speech at the event, “Intel is a company that views things not only in terms of profits, but sees the community as an integral part of itself.”
