ASSOCIATION SUB-COMMITTEE

 

Present: Larry Matthews, Karl Csaszar, Harry Waugh, Bill Blaney, Don Duval.

Larry Matthews opened the meeting with prayer.

Karl Csaszar the chairperson emphasized that we need to pray deeply for the Association and its progress.

We need to send letters to all the churches through the Communications Director informing them of the proposed changes.

The committee then listed the officers needed to form the Executive as mandated by the Association at its Fall Meeting and attached names for contact or who have already accepted the position.

Missions Team Chair---         Debbie Gordon

Ministry Team Chair---           Debbie James, Terry Atkinson, Doug Hapeman

Fellowship Team Chair---       Larrry Matthews

 A letter will be sent to all churches from the Communications Director asking them to send in the names of representatives to a Council Meeting to meet in mid February. They should reply with names by December 31. The Executive will for a Council from these names by February 1 and to meet by mid February to make plans for further implementation.

Karl Csaszar and Russ Crosby will prepare a snail mail letter to be sent to all church Clerks.

The old Council will receive a report of the new Executive at the November 28 Council Meeting at Greenwood Drive BC. The old Council will tie up old mandates at the November Meeting.

Don Duval will notify the new Executive to be at the November meeting to start proceedings.

An AD Hoc Constitution Committee will be appointed by the new Council to draft a copy of a New Constitution to be presented to the Fall Association Meeting 2003, and present a Notice of Motion for the approval of the Constitution at the Spring Meeting 2004.
