The Moderator Bill Blaney opened the meeting with prayer and turned the meeting over to the host Pastor Karl Csaszar for Devotions.

The Clerk read the minutes of the last Executive Meeting held on April 29, 2002 at Douglas UBC. Correction Dr. John Harder.

The Moderator turned the meeting back to Karl Csaszar for the presentation of the Association Sub-Committee. Descriptive papers were passed out for perusal and discussion.

Discussed representation to Council and Association.

Broke for Coffee and back at 8:00 pm.

Restructuring of Council is not the complete answer; the leading of the Lord in the work in progress will be the final soloution.

How do we handle the Saturday program? Changes for clarification were noted and discussed.

The Association needs to be asked to suspend parts of the Constitution until a modified Constitution can be prepared.

A revised edition of the handouts will be presented to Council and churches.

Time terms for the Executive were discussed.

There needs to be a visitation to all the churches and carried out by teams, not necessarily to a church service could be a mid-week or Board of Management meeting.

Discretion must be used by the Nominating Committee in selecting an Executive; any representation to Council will be beyond those elected to the Executive.

It was agreed each church will be allowed up to 2 representatives to Council with the bigger churches being allowed 3 and 4 depending on size.

The Fall Association Meeting is at Brunswick is a go and is being organized. Helen Durling explained letters are sent out to all the Women's Groups with information other than just Association news included.
