Contacts

It easy to gather a decent collection of useful contacts when you move in certain circles and know so many dirty little secrets like Declan. To name his contacts would mean death for them and annoyance for Declan, but this much can be said about his contacts, that all but one is a member of some underground organization.

Holding

Significant and unforgetful are the first two words that pop into someone's mind when they think about the freehold under Declan control. Submission the club Declan owns, is this freehold. Dark and potent are the passion filled glamour this shelter from banality produces. Among one of the few freeholds that dare exist within the Portland, the Submission Hold is there and hoping to change things in the city, dreamscape and elsewhere.

Influence

Needless to say, Declan has quite a decent amount of sway in the sex industry and its fetish clothing offshoots. When your hot, people tend to listen to what you got to say. But this isn't to say a politican or corporate tycone isn't under his thumb as well. Its amazing a few well learned secrets can do, even when I supposed dead man holds them.

Prestige

Being a member of the secretive Shadow Court isn't exactly a easy thing to do and holding a position of power within it, is even less of an easy thing to do. But like a handful of others, Declan is a Pretender within the ranks of the Shadow Court. With his Title of Duke, he moves about the Seelie and Unseelie courts seeking to bring down other nobles that are above and below him in station.

Resources

From family holdings in Germany to business ventures galore, Declan has quite a great deal of wealth as is common among most Sidhe. But, most Sidhe would shiver and hide if they knew of half the sources Declan's steady income actually came from. With the world's increasing want of something involving flesh, Declan won't be out in the street anytime soon.

Title

With noble comes a title, usually. But not every Sidhe is graced enough to hold the title of Duke. Duke Declan ap Scathach, he was formerly known before the return of the Sidhe in '69. But after the Accordance War died down, he married a noblewoman of House Fiona and walked from his house and into the Fiona's. Shame the lofty ideals couldn't keep him from falling into the Unseelie after the woman's death.

Trod

Not through luck, but just the power of his Freehold. Declan has access to a number of trods running from as close as to a few places in Portland, one that leads to Meridian California, one that leads to Seattle, Washington, one that leads to just outside of Albany, New York and one that leads into the Near Dreaming. Each of these trods can only be opened at night.
