World's End Bar...
Jack says in English, "You have to travel
around and find your own heaven, or perhaps your own hell, but you
need to learn the language of Angels in order to make your way around
here."
Yosannah raises a brow at Jack's words.
She shakes her head and smirks, turning back toward the bartop.
Eddie looks around, "I don't see no
muttafuckin Angels."
Jack motions to Yosannah, "There is an
Angel, brother, for in her arms one can loose track of eternity."
Yosannah laughs, abruptly, "That has to
be the worse pick up line I have ever heard."
Jack smiles and speaks, "It was only ment
to bring a smile m'lady. Not ment to make you jump in my arms."
Yosannah says "I'd be more likely to
smile if you'd pass the nuts." She smiles and bats her lashes once or
twice, "Please."
Eddie takes another hit on his blunt,
which is now getting kinda short.
Yosannah rubs her hands together,
"Lovely, I'm starving."
Baron grins. He squints a moment, and
yanks a chair free from it's table. He sits.
Jack looks to Yosannah, "You don't speak
Thari? Do you speak something else besides English?"
Yosannah shakes her head, "Italian.
Though, I've lost a lot of that the older I have gotten. Sorry."
Baron holds his grin, taking in the
contents of the bar. His eyes stop on Yosannah. Yosannah glances up
from her nuts at Baron's reflection in the mirror. She offers a nod
and a smile.
Jack hrmms, "Italian. I don't know that
one. I do know a touch of magic though, that can teach you the basics
of a language with just one small headache." Jack nods, "It'll cost
you though."
Yosannah says "Of course, everything has
a price."
Jack nods, "I'm thinking a smile and
maybe a small kiss right here." He touches his cheek. He smiles a
little, "But really, if it would be of help to you, I think I can be
persuaded."
Baron orders a beer. The bartender hands
it to a server who takes it to large table in the center and sets it
before him.
osannah gulps at her wine and regards
Jack cooly. Yosannah says "Well, Sir, while I appreciate the offer, I
must, regretfully, decline. Thank you."
Baron sits at his table, working on a
beer. He keeps an eye on Eddie.
Jack blinks, "Oh. I didn't mean to
offend. Did I say something wrong?"
Yosannah shakes her head, slowly, "Not at
all." She offers a light smile again.
Jack nods, 'Good. Don't like the idea of
magic then...oh...how could I have been so blind. I guess it would be
a terrible thing to indeed give me a kiss."
Yosannah says "Hhhm." She smirks and
lifts her wine glass and stares at the contents. "You catch on
quickly."
Jack laughs and says, "Well, the spell is
yours for a smile then, whenever you would like it. I am Jack and
well known in this place."
Yosannah says "Somehow, I have no doubt
about that. Though, i'm not sure why you have such an interest in my
linquistic abilities."
Jack hrmms, "I'm a helpful kind of guy,
and sometimes people do tend to pay favors back, but a smile is the
price, and I'm firm on that."
Yosannah says "Where are you from?
Amber-side I'd guess."
Jack says, "Oh, I tend to travel around.
Like Arashi there."
Yosannah nods, "definitly Amber-side.
They tend to be more evasive. Like you are."
"No, that's just Jack, in general,"
Arashi smiles and chuckles.
Jack rolls his eyes at Arashi and then
grins, "I suppose it might be."
Yosannah nods, "Hmm."
Jack says, "He has plotted more mundane
shadow paths than any person in existance I do so beleive." He
laughs, "Perhaps I just know them from meeting them in this place."
Arashi smiles "He's very undefinable,
Jack is."
Jack says, "I am easy to define. Everyone
says I talk too much so I must be the wind."
Rock grins "Is it not true that you have
just defined him Sir?"
Jack grins at Rock, "Good one Rock.
Yosannah says "Not so undefinable, I
think." She gulps the remainder of her wine.
Arashi laughs. "Damn, you've seen my
paltry scheme to enshroud Jack in an air of mystery."
Jack nods to Yosannah, "I am a Seeker of
smiles."
Rock laughs and bows his head to Jack
"Most kind sir ..." he smiles and shrugs to Arashi like it was a
mistake "Sorry ... missed your objective ...let me see if I can mend
it". So saying he turns to Yosannah and with a perfectly straight
face says "His mystery remains that for just when you think you have
perfect the definition that would entrap the essence that is Jack..."
he looks over to jack "Taking liberty of using your name there sir,
sorry..." he turns back to Yosannah and continues "he will be gone
and awaiting another attempt with what appears to be a good natured
smile and not a trace of malice."
Yosannah raises a brow, "Uh. Ok." She
waves at the bartender and asks for another glass of wine. She then
pushes the bowl of nuts away.
Jack chuckles and finishes his drink,
"Well perhaps there will be a tomorrow. Until then, I must bid you
all good bye."
Yosannah smiles, "Drive safely."
Jack nods to Yosannah, "And be careful of
this Rock. He's a charmer." "On that note..." Yosannah gulps at her
second glass of wine. "I'm off."
Arashi says "Well, nicing metting you."
Yosannah smiles, "Likewise. Take care."
