Webber's Wayside Inn...
Yosannah wanders down the stairs.
Kitsune paces across the floor, turning when she reaches one obstruction. She notices her and looks up to follow your decent. "Pestilence?"
"Do you have to use that name in public?"
Kitsune nods. "I'm glad to see you are more yourself.
Yosannah smirks at this. "And you. How now?"
Kitsune says "I have more control over myself. I no longer kill at a touch ... unless I will it."
Yosannah shrugs, "And that's an asset?"
Kitsune says "If you had been denied human contact for over a year, you might see it as such."
"And since when was human contac... nevermind. I requested your 'visit' for a reason."
"Yes."
"I need your help locating an item. It was given to my host by Merlin of Amber. Are you familiar with him?"
Kitsune watches you closely, then raises her eyebrows. "What makes you think I could possibly be of any help in this regard? I thought you wanted me to kill someone."
"Because you are more mobile then I am at this point."
Kitsune looks around while she speaks, then wanders towards the fireplace, nodding , "I have vague recollection of Merlin."
"It is some sort of powerful healing artifact. Merlin gave it to my host when I first found her. It was strong enough to weaken me. I hid it in the temple of our apocalyptic shadow. I am strong enough now that I want it back so that I might study it further."
Kitsune says "What apocalyptic shadow?" Kitsune sits down at Small square table in front of the fireplace.
Yosannah blinks, "The Shadow Dalt found us in, of course." Kitsune pulls her chair close to the fireplace, and reaches her hands towards it for warmth.
Kitsune says "Nobody tells me these things."
"I am surprised you don't remember it. Then, I'm not surprised you don't."
Kitsune says "I don't remember anything, just that I'm Death and I destroy worlds."
Yosannah shrugs, "Of course there is one problem. I no longer recall the location of the shadow. Somehow the path there has escaped me." She shakes her head with a sigh."
Kitsune says "Then how am I to find it?"
"Dalt must know the location of the shadow. Perhaps the key is within Serpentise Keep!"
Kitsune nods, "Alright, I think I can handle Dalt. It will have to wait though, I have something I'm in the middle of."
Yosannah nods, "Certainly. Though while you're in the middle of whatever your in the middle of... the person I wanted you to 'deal with' is living in Dover. Jane something or other"
Kitsune says "So, you want me to find Jane somebody, who lives in Dover. Am I looking for a specific Jane, or should I just kill all of them?"
Yosannah tries to recall the woman's name, but she laughs at that, "Yes. Just kill them all." She pauses for a moment, "Actually, just do what you have to do to put her in check." Yosannah motions to the front door, "Now get the hell out of my Inn." She smirks.
