Gideon Club sitting room..
Ryan takes Yosannah’s hand gently and lifts it in a slight shake, "Well, if we have met before, forgive me for forgetting such a lovely face."
Yosannah smiles, "Very charming."
Stone smirks and resumes a conversation he was having with Ryan, "So, anything else to bring up?"
Ryan grins, a gentlemanly smile sent to Yosannah before her looses her hand. He turns his gaze to Stone and grins, "Well, I sent a couple teams into Magitech to start the clean up. The natives are good workers. We’ve hired a few of them already."
Stone hehs, "Jesus, they’re still alive?" The workers you hired or the…"
Ryan chuckles, "The workers. Those people are pretty resilient. There are a handful of them left. They had started rebuilding colonies and stuff."
Stone hmms. He looks at Yosannah, "And, before you ask… Yes. I am always in some type of business discussion."
Yosannah smiles, "Of course." She wanders behind the bar and digs for soda. She snaps open the can and walks to the fireplace to sit with Stone.
Ryan crosses one foot over the other as he leans against the wall, his hands in his pockets. "I think the place is gonna work out well. I was wondering though. What do you think about inviting other businesses to move in? We can set up a railroad system to the Seas and charge rent on railcars for shipping?"
Stone things, "Through Ishtar?"
Ryan nods, "Sure."
Stone says, "Not sure how the natives will take that. We like a low profile."
Ryan nods and says, "I know, but think of the money it’ll generate."
Stone says, "Well, I don’t people finding Matitech."
Ryan nods and considers, "Ah. I see. Why not?"
Yosannah looks up at Stone from behind her soda can.
Stone says, "Because it’s got certain properties that are useful for some quiet experimentation.
Ryan lifts a brow and nods, A grin on his face, "Ooooh. I see. Alright then. No train."
Lila comes into the sitting room from the lobby.
Stone gestures at Lila, "Ryan Nukewinte, Yo, my secretary Lila.
Ryan smiles, his gaze turning from Stone to Lila and takes her hand in his, shaking it gently, "A pleasure to be sure. It’s good to meet you."
Yosannah holds out her hand to Lila as well, "Hey."
Stone asks Lila, "Sorry I had to leave you around lunch time. Prior engagement."
Lila nods at Stone, "I had a chat with Alayne after you left."
Stone asks, "How did that go?"
Lila shrugs, "She now knows the truth and you should have no problems about it again."
Stone hmms, "And the truth is?"
Lila adds, "That I work for you. No more, no less."
Stone nods, "Good enough. Any problems with the trump?"
Lila nods to Stone, "Interesting toy, took a while to get it to work."
Stone says, "Not that hard once you get the hang of them."
Lila walks over to the bar and gets herself an ice tea, "Anyone want something to drink?"
Stone adds to Lila, "Oh, I’ll need that trump back too. I’ll get you a permanent one eventually."
Lila nods and pulls the card out of her purse and hands it to Stone.
Yosannah stretches and seems uninterested in the talk of trumps and business, "Okay. I’m outah here."
Stone watches and says, "Bored you long enough?"
Yosannah nods. "Yep." She turns to go but stops abruptly, "Oh." She pulls a card of sorts out of her pocket and shows it to Stone, "I got this invitation… You going to this thing?"
Stone looks over the invitation, "Oh, yeah. Uh, maybe."
Yosannah begins to slide her jacket over her shoulders.
Ryan asks of Stone, "Hey, Stone, do you know a woman by the name of Rei. She works for me."
Stone nods, "I do. What’s her deal?"
Yosannah zips her jacket as she prepares to leave, "Rei? I talked to her for a while. She spend the whole night crying in the bathroom of this bar we were at." She laughs, "It was joyous, let me tell you."
Ryan sighs and nods, his face even more drawn, "What was this?"
Yosannah considers, "Ahh, last week at the most." She reaches in her pocket, finds her sunglasses and places them on her nose.
Ryan nods, "Thanks. If you see here in the near future, could you tell her that I’m looking for her?"
Yosannah shrugs, "Sure thing. Later guys."
Stone smirks at Yosannah and then asks, "What happened to her?"
Yosannah waves Stone off as she heads for the door, "You don’t want to know."
