Yosannah pours herself another bourbon, downing it quickly. She reaches into her jacket pocket and fiddles around. She removes a card and stares at an image of Damen....

The image of Yosannah sits at the World's End. A bottle of bourbon before her. She says to the image of Damen "Hey." She smiles.

The image of Damen says "Hey...yourself."

The image of Yosannah studies him for a moment, "I ah.. " She smiles awkwardly, "I was wondering if you were busy."

The image of Damen shrugs nonchalantly, "A friend is visiting me....but I'm not busy...what's up?"

The image of Yosannah seems a little disappointed. "I was thinking of stop'n by, but ah." She chuckles, "I can call ya later."

The image of Damen frowns faintly, "Are you okay?"

The image of Yosannah nods reassuringly, "Yeah. Just a little lonely at the moment." She smiles again.

The image of Damen shakes his head at something said by his guest.

The image of Yosannah says "Damen, if your occupied ..."

The image of Damen glances at Yo's surroundings, "Lonely in a bar?" He smiles, "If you need me....I'll come."

The image of Yosannah laughs, "I didn't want to hang out here. That's why I called."

The image of Damen says "Do you want to join us?"

The image of Yosannah says, "I want to see you. I don't want to impose."

The image of Damen says "You're not imposing...you would be most welcome to join us."

The image of Yosannah seems doubtful at first but smiles, "Okay." She finishes the last gulp of her drink and pushes it away.

The image of Damen offers to pull her through....

Ranch - Montana

Naeve grins knowingly at Damen. "I had gathered."

Yosannah seems a little uncomfortable, having interrupted the conversation. She smiles at them both.

"Hey." Damen smiles, "There's a bottle of wine over there....I'll go get another glass ." He heads to the door, pausing only to say, "Oh...Naeve...Yosannah. Yo...Naeve." With his introductions out of the way he disappears into the house.

Naeve smiles sweetly to the new arrival. "Good day. Welcome to... <she struggles a little to remember the words> Damen's Shangri La."

Yosannah crosses her arms and smirks, "Is that what he's calling it now?"

Naeve angles her head aside, "What was he calling it before?"

Damen reappears, carrying another glass which he goes and fills for Yosannah.

Yosannah seems about to comment, but refrains at Damen's arrival.

Damen offers the glass to Yo, before taking up his own. "So...already talking about me?"

Naeve appears to have just asked Yosannah a question, having risen from her seat to greet her when she arrived.

Damen says "It was...oh..." He glances at his watch, "What five minutes?"

Yosannah takes the glass with a smile, "You wish."

Naeve says "That is barely enough to really get started."

Damen laughs, "Yo only thinks she knows all of my skeletons."

"What are we drinking?" She examines thebottle.

"Hmm." Naeve says "Something Peruvian, I believe."

Damen says "A Peruvian vintage...yeah, Ode to a Llama, I think."

Naeve remains standing by her seat, awaiting the others before sitting down again herself.

Damen takes that into his own hands and plops himself down on the bench.

Yosannah crosses her arms, "Llama's Damen?" She leans against the railing. "I think the last time you were talking llamas you were piss drunk and had punched one out?"

Damen nods, "Okay...so you know about one of my skeletons."

Yosannah pauses mid-sip and raises and eyebrow.

Naeve chuckles, "Sounds like a very small skeleton, if that at all."

Damen says "Yeah, well, it was a -big- llama."

Yosannah winks, "Anyhoot. I'd like to visit with the horses if you don't mind.." She nods in the direction of the corral.

Damen blinks, "Certainly. Eros and Psyche."

Naeve smirks at the mention of the horses' names.

Yosannah sets her wine glass on the railing and hops off the porch. "Be back in a few."

Damen nods. He leans towards Naeve. "How's the wine?"

Naeve lifts the glass up to cast a bit of tinted light on her blouse. "It is fairly refreshing."

Damen watches Yo, periodically interjecting quietly with Naeve.

Naeve nods a little, continuing to sip at her drink. "Hope it goes well."

Damen says "As do I."

Yosannah climbs onto the fence and hangs her legs into the corral before dropping down. She approaches the horses casually. The stallion, Eros, eyes Yosannah warily, guarding his mate...who, as most women do, promptly ignores him and moves around his hulking ebony mass to approach Yosannah. Eros snorts indignantly.

Naeve grins with amusement over the rim of her glass as she watches the horses shuffle back and forth at Yosannah's presence. Yosannah mumbles something softly to the stallion with a smile as she strokes the mare's neck. Damen nods at Naeve. Naeve shrugs, glancing down at her wineglass, apparently having hit an awkward point in the conversation.

Damen smiles at Naeve. "Forgive me. It was long ago...." Damen says "So...what made you leave the hospital?"

Naeve says "Time pressure, mostly. I simply did not have the time to spend all those hours working. I was beginning to lose what was important to me. Though healing people was important, I could not do it at that pace without losing myself."

Damen nods, "Understandable. That's why I moved out here." He grins, "That and I destroyed my house in Scotland " He glances momentarily at Yosannah.

Naeve twitches a brow upward. "Your house in Scotland? Back where we were? Why did you do that?"

Damen shrugs, "I think I was venting."

Naeve shakes her head, "Why is it that the people I know vent in such destructive ways? Does no one go out and get drunk and pass out anymore?"

Damen grins, "I did that after I leveled the house."

Naeve throws a hand in the air in exasperation. "Could you not have just drank more?" she questions, not entirely serious.

Yosannah wanders away from the horses and limbs back over the fence.

Damen smirks, "Next time...that's what I'll do...stick with the bottle."

Naeve reaches over and pats Damen on the shoulder patronizingly, "Good boy."

Damen smirks, "I do tricks too."
