Gideon Club Sitting room. Yosannah is trumped by Cisco...
The image of Cisco's voice is hesitant, and polite. "Donna Yosannah? Hello?"
Yosannah makes a face, "Ah.. who is this? Where did you get my trump?"
"You gave it to me, Donna Yosannah. In Hell's Kitchen, while we talked about the troubles there."
Yosannah bites at her lower lip, "Listen..." She considers for a moment before changing her mind, "What's your name?"
The image of Cisco bows, his gaze staying on the card. "I am Francisco Martinez Usher Myrys, but Cisco is hokay, too. Is it suitable that I contact you this way?"
"You're chaosian then?" She smiles with a sigh, "then you're not with that group, good." This she says more to herself. "Listen, what do you want?"
"I wanted to ask you about, ah," He stops and ponders, beginning again slowly, "About saving a lot of people. I have a plan, and I need to talk to people to see if it is feasible."
To the image of Cisco, Yosannah says "So You're talking to me? What am I supposed to do about your problems?"
"Listen, and give your opinions." He peers at the picture "You said it was not their time just yet. From that I draw hope. You maybe want to change the appraisal, hey?"
"Buddy, I don't know what the hell you're talking about, but I'll listen. Go on."
"Can I come where you are? Or you come here. I'm not used to these card things."
Yosannah frowns and considers, "Where are you?"
Cisco looks around, "Elbridge, outside the Asylum. Do you know the area?"
Yosannah smiles knowingly, "Yeah. Hmm. Listen, I'm not supposed to be out and about, so You'll have to come here. But I'm trumping you out as soon as we're done, okay?"
"Sure, no problem,Signora."
She reaches through the trump to pull Cisco through. He seems confused for a moment, inching back as Yosannah's hand reaches for him. "How the heck does this work?" He mutters, then takes the hand.
Yosannah takes a step away from him as he arrives....
Cisco steps back, a mirror image as if in dance. He gives the card in his hand a dubious look, comparing it to the lady, then he bows. "Donna Yosannah, greetings."
Yosannah shakes her head and waves her hand in disapproval of his greeting, "Just Yo. Really."
"So, is it hokay to talk about Hell's Kitchen?"
"Talk about that hole on the butt of humanity. I can't wait."
"Hey, there's a few people hanging on there, trying to win the place back and rebuild. I want to help them. I got this plan to do so, and I wanted to find out if you had any advice."
Yosannah Chuckles, obviously amused at something, "Sure, go ahead."
"You told me that it was not the right time for Hell's Kitchen to end. So I'm guessing you know of other shadows, elsewhere that are heading to their endings. What I want to do is bring a whole slug of people from a dying shadow into Hell's Kitchen. Sure, it'll be tough on them, but it's a step up from oblivion, hey. Can you help with that?"
Yosannah stares at him as if he is insane. She shakes her head, "You shouldn't upset things like that."
"So explain to me this 'upsetting'."
Yosannah rolls her eyes, "You obviously don't understand how shadow works. Listen, you just can't go around uprooting people and drag'n them to other shadows. Most folks don't even know what shadow is, get it."
"Look, if they are dying anyway they might as well get moved. There's other parts of the plan that need people there. It's likely I don't know how things work, so maybe you explain, hey."
Yosannah Seems rather annoyed, "Listen, first of all, I'm not that person you met in Hell's Kitchen, okay. We might as well get that all cleared up. And secondly, what makes you think you have the right to decided who get's moved?" She shakes her head, "Like you should have the say so in something like that." Yosannah blabs on, "And just how do you think you'd move tons of people out of a shadow?"
Cisco offers "A whole slug of trumps? Or bring them into Hell's Kitchen on that subway shadow path. Or from the World's end. I figure a thousand or two will be enough."
"And you think you'll get a slug of trumps from where?" Yosannah moves to lean casually against the bar.
"Details, details. I won't worry about that until I figure out if I can get the people."
"So you want me to tell you where there are shadows faced with Armageddon so you can snatch some people? Is that it?"
Cisco says "Except that I don't like your use of the term 'snatch'."
He shrugs,"Look, you don't want to help that's hokay. I got other things I'm trying. You rather the people in a dying shadow all die I guess that's your view point, and I gotta respect it."
She seems rather taken aback, "I never said that." She crosses her arms.
"Advice?"
She sighs, "The person you.. the Yo that you first met might have known what you're asking. I.." She sighs again. "I can't help you." She absentmindedly reaches for the collar at her throat.
Cisco goes to the table, and wobbles one of the chairs, testing it out as he considers sitting. "Oh." He isn't too sure of either Yo's reply or that chair. "Is there someone you could direct me to." He turns his attention to Yosannah's eyes, then to the collar she's fingering.
" I could tell you that, then I'd have to kill you." She heh. "The people that would know where these shadows are would try to find me, And we just can't have that."
Cisco's attention raises to Yosannah's eyes. "Not a joke, is it."
"I don't joke."
"I ain't joking either. That whole shadow is being destroyed by something. I can't get near enough to it to figure out how to stop it. We need a diversion, a decoy, and that decoy probably ain't gonna live. I was hoping to find someone other than friends to take that role." He bows to Yosannah. "Very well. I thank you for listening, Signora Yosannah. I will leave now."
Yosannah moves toward Cisco and reaches for his arm...
Elbridge...
Yosannah looks around the little Town, "Here you go."
Cisco looks around. "Fast."
Cisco takes a step, still getting his bearings. "Yes, well thanks." He reaches into his pocket and draws out a slim trump case...
