Gideon Club sitting room...…

Yosannah sits quietly in front of the fireplace, looking at the cold coals.

Stone wanders in and says, "Hey."

Yosannah doesn’t turn to regard him, "Hey."

Stone picks up a few papers from behind the bar and flips through them, "What’s new?"

Yosannah knocks around a few embers with a stick, "You’re horrible at small-talk, Stone."

Stone smirks, "I am wonderful at small talk. Just not your small talk."

Yosannah chuckles, "Ah, new… I was at the web earlier for a quick drink."

Stone asks, "See anything interesting?"

Yosannah says, "Just a guy in a dress… nothing interesting."

Stone asks, "Who?"

Just then Hel enters the sitting room and Stone looks over at her and smiles.

Yosannah says, "Rick was his name. Past out for some reason… so the ya-hoo’s put him in a dress." She tosses the stick into the fireplace and brushes her hands clean as she stands, "Hey, Hel. Feeling better?"

Hel smiles to Stone and Yosannah, "Yeah, thanks. Never better. Hey, this place is kinda new to me" She looks around.

Stone nods to Hel, "Well, feel free. Maybe Yo can give you a tour. I have a meeting in a short bit."

Yosannah gives Stone a quick glare as she adjusts her shirt.

Hel shrugs, "I do okay on my own. I thought I might visit that asylum down the street. Take care of some loose threads."

Stone nods to Hel, "With Greenmoon?" he asks hesitantly as he slips a trump form his pocket.

Hel nods to Stone, "Well, yeah. Kinda." She peers at him curiously, "Why?"

Stone says to Hel, "Well, she and I had a falling out a short time ago." He adds, "Though, I have nothing against her."

Hel frowns

Stone gives Yosannah a smirk as he tells Hel, "Well, it’s common knowledge I don’t have any sort of human emotion apparently. So Greenmoon got mad at my actions since she is more human than I."

Yosannah crosses her arms and turns her back to the two at the bar and mutters, "Here we go…"

Hel cocks her head slightly, "What did you do?"

Stone says, "I didn’t try to stop her from seeing Leman."

Hel scratches at the back of her neck and just shakes her head.

Stone shrugs and then moves forward and vanishes in a rainbow sparkle.

Hel studies Yosannah, "Didn’t you and dad used to hang out a long time ago?"

Yosannah nods, "Dad? Oh, Stone! Ahh, something like that. For him it was a little while back. For me it was just a few days back." She smiles at Hel, "At least it seemed that way."

Hel nods slowly, "I know what you mean. Time has a way of getting away from you, or just marching on without you. My grampa always used to say time was blind, like him." She shrugs.

Yosannah chuckles, "You’re very wise, Hel. But it wasn’t quite like that. Have you ever heard of a writer from Earth named Mark Twaine?"

Hel hrms then shrugs, "I don’t think so, no."

Yosannah smiles, "Marke Twaine, supposedly, fell asleep for over a century and, when he awoke, everything around him had changed. Except him. You see?"

Hel grins a touch impishly, "I see. It’s what happens when humans come too close to faerie rings."

Yosannah squints, "Mmm. I’m not too sure about Faerie rings, but it’s what happens in shadow, and it happened with me and your dad. So, we’re just getting back into the swing of things."

Hel nods, "Hey, I was lost in shadow. For a long time. I just got back a couple months ago."

Yosannah leans on the bar, "And what are you up to now that you’re back?"

Hel smiles proudly, "I’m running my dad’s business with the help of my sis."

Yosannah smiles again, "Lemme guess. Are you involved in his movie business?"

Hel shakes her head, "Not *that* dad. My other dad."

Yosannah raises an eyebrow, "You’re other dad? What other dad?"

Hel smiles, "Leman."

Yosannah scratches at the back of her head, "Yeah, Stone, er, your dad, mentioned him before. Who, exactly, is Leman?"

Hel hmms "He used to be Lupin. My mom. But he changed to Leman, so I just call him dad instead of mom.

Yosannah can’t help but crack a smile, "Really? Well, in any event, I bet you miss her."

Hel nods with a little sigh, "Yeah. I do."
