Gideon Club Study...

Yosannah wanders into the study, Ryker close behind her, "Stop following me, Ryker." She smirks as she wanders toward Stone, "I hate when he does that."

Ryker retorts, "Well, you're the only one I can smell across Shadow. You make it too easy."

Yosannah rolls her eyes, "That was witty."

Stone smirks, "Morning you two. Ryker, word has it you've been up to mischief lately."

Ryker is casual as ever, "Only lately?"

Yosannah smirks.

Stone chuckles, "How about especially lately."

Ryker looks for a place to sit.

Yosannah climbs up on a stool at the bar.

Ryker drops himself into the recliner. He looks the both of them over with a glance, then lays back with his attention on the ceiling and his hands behind his head.

Yosannah looks from Stone to Ryker and then back to Stone with a shrug, "He's not up for sharing."

Stone says "So, what are the two of you up to today?"

Yosannah offers, "You're looking at it."

Ryker clears his throat some, not that his youthified voice really needs it anymore, not nearly as rough as it used to be. "I'll share. Which trouble in particular ... The Yrymyss, Anyon, Begma, other....?"

Stone says "Anyon? Do tell."

"I wanna hear all of 'em." Yosannah nods.

Ryker snorts and smirks together. Declares, "Greedy."

Yosannah winks, "That's me." Ryker starts, "Anyon stems from Yrmyr...Yrymyss."

Stone nods, leaning back to listen. He gestures for a servant who soon brings him a Diet Coke.

Ryker says "Who Stone might know I have a long history with, from back in my somewhat reckless youth."

"When was that? Yesterday?"

Ryker states, "I have lingering gas older than you, Yo. Be quiet."

Yosannah hops off the stool and moves around the bar, "Bah. Who needs a drink..."

Ryker continues, "So for various reasons, I've crossed with Aramiss, Zeta, and some others of Yrymyss, and some time ago there was a big brawl in the WEB. Bunch of them against me and a few others. They lost badly, though no fatalities. I gave Esme a good natured threatening in the World's End afterhaving to smack around some youth from the House, which shortly after prompted Anyon to pay me a visit."

Stone pops his soda open, listening still.

Yosannah pokes around behind the bar, popping her head up once or twice in effort to hear Ryker's story, "Who is Anyon? I know that name I think."

Ryker explains, "Anyon is an arrogant Choasian from Helgram. Excuse the triple redundance. We tossed some words and bullets, but no bleed shed, and he fled. After another good natured threat, this time to him, he has gotten all buddy buddy."

Stone snickers. He then adds, "Anyon's been getting in alot of trouble as well."

Ryker hehs a little. "He wanted info on who has a Spikard. Started to suggest stealing one before he had to run off." Ryker stretches his arms out, adding, "So I've heard."

Yosannah asks Stone, "Isn't that the thing COrey has. A spikard?"

Stone nods to Yosannah, "It's a magickal gizmo. Seems a bit on the wimpy side to me, but who am I to judge?"

Ryker notes, "The ex-King Cecilia has one too, but Anyon didn't want to make a go for that one."

Yosannah adds, "And I don't suppose Corey will just hand his over."

Stone says "Chances are that's a no."

Ryker remarks, "Insightful." Ryker asks, even rolling his head to look around the room, "Where's Damen."

Yosannah shrugs, "Ran off on 'business'."

Ryker asks, "In that case, what trouble were you refering to, Stone?"

Stone says "Well, your name has come up a number of times from a number of directions. That says to me that you've been busy."

Yosannah regards Stone, "You don't have to be in the inner circles to know that Stone. You should hang out in the Web more."

Smith walks in calmly, "Oh hello," he says simply, not explaining himself.

Yosannah watches as Smith wanders into the room.

Stone glances over and nods, "Hello there."

Yosannah points back out into the hallway as she addresses Smith, "The help uses the back door, buddy."

Smith grins and curtsies.

She asks, "Don't I know you from somewhere?" Yosannah turns to Stone and mumbles, "That sounded like a bad pick-up line, didn't it?"

Stone nods to Yosannah and then says to Smith, "Nice to meet you. You know who I am?" he asks, sipping his Diet Coke.

Smith says "I've never met you before."

"Then what are you doing in his house?"

Stone looks at Yosannah, "I thought I was a legend. There goes my ego."

She nods sympathetically.

Smith says "You'd invited me here a while ago, but you turned into a beast. I decided to wait a while until I came back. Where's Damen?"

Stone looks curious at hearing this, glancing at Yosannah.

Yosannah points at herself, "I don't know what he's talking about."

Smith says "Suit yourself."

Stone asks Smith, "She turned into a beast? I mean, I've seen her get pissy, but I'd never call her a beast. At least to her face."

"Yeah. Not to my face anyway."

Smith says "An animal. She was attacking Damen I think."

Yosannah laughs, "I do that nightly, friend. Really now."

Stone lets out a laugh before asking "What kind of animal?"

Yosannah elbows Stone, "None of your business."

Stone snickers, "Did you dress up in your cat outfit again? The crotchless one?"

Yosannah nods, "Yeah, you used to like that one too if I remember... but.. I digress." She turns back to Smith, "What're you looking fer Damen for?"

Smith says "I just wanted to say hello. He said that he was going to stop by my fish store a while ago but never did."

Stone says "You own a fish store?"

Yosannah lets a chuckle escape her lips, "That's right, he owns a fish store. Interesting."

Smith shrugs, "Yes. Would you like to buy any?"

Yosannah blinks, "Uh. No."

Stone says "What kind of fish you have? The kind you watch in a tank or the kind you cook on the stove?"

Yosannah chuckles at Stone, "He's been wanting some goldfish for weeks now."

Smith says "The tank, though if you're hungry I'm sure there are plenty of fushermen who would love to do business with you."

Yosannah turns to Stone, feigning excitement, "Stone! We could call them itchy and scratchy! Two cute little goldfish. The ones with buggy eyes."

Stone grins, "Sure, make it so."

Smith tells Yo, "I can arrange that."

Yosannah clasps her hands together still sarcastic, "I can hardly wait."

Stone gives a big grin, "Get a nice tank too. With lots of castles and stuff. Those are neat."

Smith says "Sure. I'll hook it up."

Smith says to Ryker, "I don't believe I've met you."

Yosannah waves a hand flippantly in Ryker's direction, "Unless you have a spakard ... he's just gonna sit there and pout by himself."

Ryker ignores everything masterfully, especially Yo. Eventually a glance is flicked in Smith's direction from where he reclined in a, well, recliner. Ryker confirms at Smith, belatedly, "You haven't met me, no."

"I'm Mr. Smith. And you sir? You are?"

Ryker answers Smith, a little more firmly, shadowed, violet gaze resting on him, "I am someone you haven't met."

Smith says "Suit yourself."

Ryker grunts. Looks over at Stone, then back to the ceiling.

Yosannah stretches, "Anyway... on that note. Nice to see you, Mr. Smith. I'll talk at you later, Stoner." She makes her way to the hallway without bothering to address Ryker.

Stone gives a wave towards Yosannah, "Later."

Smith says "Good bye."

Ryker bothers enough to wave, just a little one, at Yo's back.
