Elbridge...
The image of Cisco stands near a window, and behind him a bolt of lightning pulsates. It has struck from sky to earth somewhere off in the distance but does notspark then fade. The lightning continues as Cisco speaks. "Hey! This is Cisco. Hi, got a few minutes to talk, or can I visit you?"
To the image of Cisco, Yosannah says "Of Course" She reaches out a hand to pull Cisco through....
Someone rushes by you, glancing behind him as a mob chases him down. As they move past, you hear them yelling something like, "Death to Oxmyrth!"
Cisco says "Thanks!"
Yosannah crosses her arms over her chest and offers a light smile, "What's up?"
Cisco says "Pardon," His head bows, from something more than respect this time. "Do you know a Signora named Delerium?"
Yosannah's smile brightens, "Of course I do. She probably one of my bestest friends." Her smile then fades,"Though, I haven't seen her in months" She shakes her head, "Why?"
Cisco sighs, "I met her husband. He's..." He pauses, looking for words and not coming up with much, "...distraut. I'm so sorry, but he told me she had passed away."
A man jogs by you, paying you little heed as he checks his hair in a hand held mirror. As he passes, you hear him mutter "Have to get back to tape the Twilight Zone..."
Yosannah frowns and shakes her head, "What are you talking about?"
Cisco turns to watch the man jog by, then turns back to study Yo. "I had heard nothing myself, and Signor Elkantar seemed less than lucid. Still, it's hard to think a husband could be wrong about such a thing. I just wish I could find someone else who knew something."
Yosannah shakes her head, "Not that I know much about Elk, but he must be mistaken."
There's a sudden shift in Cisco's stance, a relaxation as he breaths out. His smile takes on a new light, and he speaks with quick excitement. "Really! That's great. Where could I look for her? What does she need? Why has her husband got such a strange idea?"
Yosannah's brow furrows, "Wait, let me ask YOU something. Why the sudden interested in Delerium? And why did you come to me with this."
Cisco says "Signor Elkantar was picking a fight with someone in the World's End Bar when I came in last night. I had to scrape him off the floor and hand him over to a 500 pound demon nursemaid to heal up. He said the people he was fighting had something to do with his wife's death."
A handsome man walks past, looking incredibly vain as a beautiful young woman jogs up behind him, begging for his attention. , "Who was he refering to?"
Cisco says "He was fighting with Signora Cosette and Signor Dumic."
Yosannah reflects, "...Cosette. That sounds familiar. Dumic, however.." She shakes her head in uncertainty. Cisco shrugs, "He is not of the Courts, I don't know him. He seems well up in the society from the Other End of Things, though."
"You still haven't answered my question."
Cisco says "I'm sorry, I must not have understood the question, then?"
"Why did you come to me with this information?"
Cisco says "Oh. Well," His hands wave, taking in the area around them, "I thought she lived around here. And you live around here. I haven't any other clues."
A young woman with a perfect figure walks down the street. Her auburn hair swayi ng gently behind her. She smiles at you as she passes, cheerful laughter in her eyes.
Yosannah nods, "Yes, she lives down that way." She points down the 'driveway' opposite from Webber's Wayside Inn. She shakes her head again and kicks at a pebble on the sidewalk, "I just don't get this."
Cisco shakes his head. "Nor do I. I got no better information from Signor Elkantar, unfortunately he was injured, and not very coherant."
Yosannah nods, "I'll look into it. Maybe I should have done so sooner."
Cisco nods again. He sighs, and looks around. "...hope it's not true..." he mutters,"I'll see if i can find out more."
"Okay. Thank you for the ... information. I'll be in touch." With that, she turns and heads into the Inn.
