This was the pair of Bonita that I caught a few summers ago off of the Jacksonville Florida coast. They put up one heck of a fight and tasted wonderful on the grill.

Here is one of those Small Savannah River catfish that keeps eating your bait when fishing for trout. I posted this picture to show the marsh and brackish water at the end of the river. The saw grass you see in the background is full of wild hogs and sand nats.
(no see um's).

These are some of the smaller Northern Pike that I caught during May 0f 1998 in Northern Alberta. After hooking one of these every second or third cast, I must say it was becoming a serious hazard. The primary hazard of having my hands reduced to ground meat from the razor teeth never bothered me. The real hazard was in the fact that I was getting seriously "addicted" to this type fishing. Man I would kill for a bass lake where the fish are so large and plentiful.
Catfishing is almost like carp fishing! You either love it or hate it. When a good size catfish grabs onto the line, the fish and swift currents almost makes you think you hooked Moby Dick! It is not as glamorous as Marlin or Tarpoon fishing, but it sure can be a fun way to pass a lazy Georgia day.
Here is the Boss and his son with a "days Catch" of Sockeye.
