Crested Pool Pictures

This picture of Crested Pool was taken by Ralph Taylor prior to the boardwalk being moved and rerouted.

During the late 1800's (this picture was taken in 1888) Crested pool was known to react to eruptions of Castle Geyser. At the time Crested Pool was much cooler than it is know. When Castle would erupt, Crested's water level would drop a foot or two as shown in the above picture.
