This vintage photograph, taken by William Henry Jackson circa 1873, shows the early morning steam rising from Geyser Hill (the white sinter covered mound in front of the darker tree covered hill in the background). The picture was taken from near the present location of the Lower Hamilton's Store, next to the Old Faithful Inn.
