Old Faithful

Earlier in the park history, before the crowds became too large, people were allowed much closer to Old Faithful. This may be one of the reasons that people feel that Old Faithful is getting shorter. While its height does vary considerably from eruption to eruption, the range of heights has stayed the same throughout the history of the park. This is amazing considering the variability seen in most geysers.
