This activity aimed to develop the Land Navigational skills of the trainees, and provide a temporary respite from the rigors of the last Major Climb (Mt. Banahaw via Crystalino). Other activities included practical examinations on Ropemanship and tent-pitching.
After negotiating for outriggers from the local baranggay official and final safety instructions from the Philippine Coast Guard, the contingent left the shores of Pundaquit. Arriving at the island, the campsite was set up and meals were prepared.
