The Executive Committee
The Edge Scout Fellowship is (like Venture Scout Units) run by an Executive Committee consisting of the following posts:
Chairman
The Chairman demonstrates one of his better features
Chairs the committee meetings and coordinates activities. They try and lend their support to the rather more hard working Treasurer and Secretary! The Chairman is also responsible for the "vision thing" where they try and "plan" the development of the Fellowship. To this end the current Chairman is in charge of implementing the two year plan. Treasurer
The Treasurer does her viking opera impression
The Treasurer administers the petty cash as well as the bank account, complying with the relevant charity rules and ensuring that we don't break the bank with some of our purchases and activities. Each year they produce a statement of the monies and present this to the Annual General Meeting.
Secretary

The Secretary is the official minute taker at the executive meetings and the AGM. They also store the records on membership, previous minutes and other relevant documents as well as handle any correspondance.
Promotion and Recruitment Officer

This new post is created to drive on and coordinate our recruitment efforts as well as to ensure that our events gain the kind of publicity we deserve!
It is also intended to have some "general" members on the executive to add their wisdom and to spread the load off these dedicated people.
We are a democratic society and these posts are all elected or re-elected each year at our Annual General Meeting. A process overseen by an external officer, in this case our Assistant District Commissioner for the District Fellowship.
