Quest by Renee Levinson
Walk a mile with me,
O' Valiant coward,
I, your Vestal,
Shall slay the dragon,
In your stead.
The quest,
The chalice,
Sanity, and Peace.
The darkness of knights' mare's,
Caressing with its' icy breath,
The demon, the wretched dragon,
Lies dormant in closets,
As skeletons do,
For all hallows night.
I,
A mere Vestal,
Fear not the beast,
Having laid waste,
Fought many battles,
Been scarred,
Time and time again,
Continue onward.
Walk with me,
O' Valiant coward,
On my journey,
My quest,
To slay the beast,
The wretched dragon,
And it's kin.
A mere maiden,
Helpless and afraid,
I am not now, nor ever shall be.
