Gretings fellow BMW enthisiast. I am a member of BMW MOA and VBMWMOA. My wife says "fewer BMW motorcycles" and "pay for that backhoe", so I sold my low-mileage '88 Bumble Bee.

This is a unique Bumble Beemer. It has low miles (under 10,000, not yet broken enough to run synthetic oil in the engine). I use Red Line heavy duty shockproof synthetic gear oil in the transmission, which gives the bike much smoother shifting. It has an accessory tach, BMW Sports Suspension, voltmeter, stainless steel brake lines, heated hand grips and a BMW accessory plug. This classic R100GS is one of a kind in it's condition - someone is going to get a very special bike.

Why the low miles and great condition? It was purchased by a single 30-something Wall Street investment banker who had much more money than time. He had two BMW bikes, two Porsche cars and an SUV, so this BMW got only occasional use. He had a skiing injury and could no longer enjoy the Porsches and BMWs, and I was fortunate enough to buy this bike five years and under 2,000 miles ago. I enjoy the occasional Sunday morning ride, usually on one of my vintage BMWs. This bike got one RA Rally weekend, and the rest of the miles were my jaunts into the NJ Highlands and the hills of Southern NY. Now I have an immaculate 1969 BMW R69US that I enjoy even riding more than this, so it's time for the Bumble Beemer to find a new owner to appreciate it.
