73. Tatoosh Range ~6900'
Directions: Fr Packwood, go N on Hwy 12, then N on Hwy 123. Turn L on Stevens Canyon Rd to Reflection Lakes. Hike to Pinnacle-Plummer Saddle in the Tatoosh Range. Other approaches available.
Notes: This satellite of peaks to the south of Mount Rainier generates interest among rock scramblers seeking different perspective of Washington's famed 14,000' peak. Pinnacle Peak called the "Matterhorn of the Cascades" catches the spotlight, although Unicorn Peak (6917'), a good early season route, is the highest. Most rock climbs are scrambles on enjoyable 4th or easy 5th class rock.
