Peace reigns over the camp. Life is good.
On the hunt today we gave thanks to our brother deer for the sharing of himself for our good.
My partner in life, my mate, my love, is content. She is working the hide, softening it for a new jacket for our son.
My child, our son, is happy and playing child games. He knows there are not many more days left to be a child. He is approaching the time to become a warrior.
And I am content, with a full belly and with the pride in my heart for my family.
It is truely a day to be thankful to the Great Spirit for all we have.
It is a day to speak to our Mother the Earth to show thanks for the gifts she bestows upon us.
It is a day to sing to Father Sun for the light and warmth he provides.
It will be a good night to dance around the fire, to hear the drums and feel the spirit of our clan.
It truely is a good day for thankful giving. Life is good.
