Our first stop was to Mukilteo
Lighthouse which sits next to a ferry dock. Then we were off to Admiralty
Head Lighthouse which included a wonderful ferry ride, on the same
day we visited Point
Wilson Lighthouse as well. During our stay on the west coast we drove
down the beautiful Pacific Coast highway and went to Gray's
Harbour Lighthouse, North
Head Lighthouse and Cape
Disappointment Lighthouse (A good name for it, we really had a difficult
time getting there, like I said on the first page we are retired).We could
not see the spectacular view that was promised , instead we could only
see the lighthouse and that was it. we decided to save the rest of the
Oregon Lighthouses for a future trip.Back in Seattle we ventured to Alki
Lighthouse as well as West
Point Lighthouse, next we were off to Tacoma to see Dofflemyer
Point Lighthouse (PRIVATE PROPERTY) plus Fox Island Lighthouse (ALSO
ON PRIVATE PROPERTY) Our last stop on this trip was Brown's
Point Lighthouse. We will be returning shortly to this wonderful area
of the United States.
