Harmon Reed Gambrell
was killed at the Battle of Antietam...He was in
Orr's Rifles Regiment,
which went into camp of instruction at Sandy Springs camp ground, ten miles above Anderson, SC, July 19th 1861...This Regiment is also known as the 1st SC Rifles
