These are the Horses that reside at my farm......Each one spoiled, and loved dearly.
This is Dolly.....She belongs to my sister Crystal..
Dolly is half appaloosa, and half welsh....she a friendly little horse...one
you can catch her....Dolly has had two foals..both fillies, since she's been
living here....Tucker, and Windsor....
This
is Windsor....Dolly's foal from 1997....She is a cock little brat....Her
sire is a Quarter Horse....She's grown up alot since this photo was taken..She's
gonna be a chunky little thing.....This winter she grew a roaned out winter
coat...I can't wait to see what color she'll be in the Spring..
This is Tucker....Dolly's foal from 1996...She has the same sire as Windsor. While Windsor is on the chunky side, Tucker is extremely refined...More like the 1/4 Welsh that she is....Her head is so Arabian like...She was born with a snowflake pattern...but in 1997 she shed out into a pink, varnish roan with spotted blanket....
In this secong pic of Tucker, you can see the top of her blanket...and her pinkieness...She has all the charateristics of the Appaloosa...the mottled skin, the scarlea around the eye, the striped hooves.....
She is a lovely little thing.....We'll start breaking her in the summer of 1998
This is KC...I bought her from an auction for $120.00
she was about 3 months old...She is turning 4 this year. She was the best
$120 i have ever spent....
And this.....is Joker.....or Pokey Jokey as i call him....He
is a Quarter Horse....his sire is Sir Magic Twist, and his dam is Tidy Jay
Bar....He's unregistered...I tried to get his papers but hte fellow I bought
him off refused to give them to me...Why...because at the time, I was planning
to show him...and keep him as a stud....And the fellow owned his full
brother..and also used him as a stud..So...I ended up gelding him when he
was three...He was the most well behaved stud I have ever worked with...and
the most ornery gelding I have ever ridden.....He love to work cattle....but
hate pleasure rides....Currently, we're working on his lope...and after that
his gallop....He doens't think that he has to move fast, unless cows are
involved...He has a natural cutting ability, and i used him for a year working
cattle....He has done it all...branding, cutting, roping....Ask him about
donkeys!
Well...that's my little herd...Hopefully I'll be able to add to it soon:)
