This is the first stage in restoring my boat. At this point I am just about done taring apart the hull and getting it ready to start repairing it. I have been working on this project for about a month now when I took these pictures.
(Upper Left) This is the top off the boat. I took it off so I could sand
and paint it. After I took it off the boat I removed anything that was metal
or that I didn't want to be painted. Now I am ready to sand it and repaint
it.
(Upper Right) This is the back end of the boat (if you can't tell, it is a big mess). I took the all the flooring out and the back of the boat it self because it was all rotten. The back of the boat in this picture is just the outer shell of the boat that I didn't cut out because it wasn't wood and I didn't want to have to re-fiberglass the whole thing.
(Lower Left) This is what the hull of the boat looks like with no floor in it. Once I am ready I will lay boards over the beams that run the length of the boat.
(Lower Right) This is the six cylinder, 70 HP outboard that is going to go on the back of the boat. I am eventually going to repaint the whole motor. Right now the lower unit is at the repair shop having all new bearings and seals put into it. (I will soon have a better picture that will be easier to see)
