Nature and Him
The sway of the trees
back and forth my body travels
The leaves dance upon the wind
their whirling shadows fill the air
Mine eyes are fixed in constant stare
My body frozen, except for the sway
I'm as alert as possible, for the slightest sign
A sudden movement or snap of a twig
Some rustled leaves, he is on his way
Is it a deer? you ask. no, it's Dad
That as good as seeing game
Spending time with nature and him.
