May 19 We have been asked to help support the walk for cancer event that will be held at Gardendale High School. We have been asked to have at least three scouts at the football ball field from 3pm to 9pm to keep candles lit and to pass out water. Please Cindy McDuffie for details. May 22 Please attend our pack meeting and help us plan for the coming year. The meeting will start at 6:pm. May 26 and 27 We have planed our first campout of the year to point mallard. This will be Memorial Day weekend. We will be camping Friday and Saturday night. There will be many special events this weekend. The major event will be hot air balloon races that will be held each day. Each day about fifty hot air balloons will take off from a field beside the campgrounds. At night the balloons will be setup for display and when it gets dark you can see them glow from all around. If you have never been it is a great trip. The pack will be camping in the campgrounds without electricity. They are bathhouses and a small store available. Point mallard has great bicycle trails and fishing spots. Listed below is the schedule of pack events. Early morning and late evening will be free time for each family to enjoy the hot air balloons. The time between the pack events will be used for each den to work on their own activities Friday Meet at the campground and setup camp Saturday
