The Adams Balloon Crew
Overall Qualifications: To qualify as a crew member a person must be caring, loving, generous, energetic, outgoing, kind, trustworthy, sympathetic, intuitive, flamboyant, slightly insane, gregarious, well educated (at least 6th grade), possess e.s.p. and be able to read the pilots mind, because although pilots speak in codes, they do think in English. You must know for example if they say "Meet at the Conoco Station on Tramway Boulevard at 6:00 a.m.", what they really mean is meet at the Phillips 66 Station on Alameda Boulevard at 6:30 a.m. And, despite all the merry mix-ups, crew members still must be able to give plenty of hugs at such an ungodly hour in the morning. |
Some crew members have a real tough time handling the 5:00 a.m. wakeup call! |
New crew members have lots of spare cash hidden away in an old tin can. How else can one explain that after one or two chases, new crew drive up in new 4 x 4 vehicles? |
Crew members are rated by their peers. All strive for the highest rating which is "Plays well with others". Members achieving this rating are allowed to purchase T-shirts with the Adams Family motto "Plays well with others" emblazoned on the shirt. |
