Phenidone Fine Grain (High Emulsion Speed)

Fine-grain; High emulsion speed formula using Phenidone that shows little change of activity after use.

It resembles Microphen in action.

Dissolve in this order:

Water.……………………750.0 cc. At 125F

Sodium Sulfite (anhy)……..100.0 grams

Hydroquinone…………….5.0 grams

Borax…………………….3.0 grams

Boric Acid………………..3.5 grams

Potassium Bromide……….1.0 gram

Phenidone…………..….…0.2 gram

Water to make……………1.0 liter

This developer is used undiluted. Average developing time for medium speed film is 7-11 minutes at 68 F.
