Welcome to Kim & Julia’s Place

Welcome to our homepage. This website was created to share information about our life in Canada. We currently live in Calgary, Alberta. Julia’s family and friends live in St. Petersburg, Russia and Kim’s family and friends live in eastern Canada, so this is the easiest way to tell everyone what we are up to.

We have lived in Calgary since May of 2000 and have loved every minute of it. There are endless opportunities for outdoor recreation in the foothills and in the Canadian Rockies. During the summer months our weekend activities usually involve hiking through the mountains valleys or scrambling to the top of another peak. In the winter months you will find us cross country skiing either at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary or on any number of trail systems along the Continental Divide. During the week after work you will find us taking advantage of Calgary’s excellent pathway system by running, biking or rollerblading.

  On our website you will find information about our recreational activities, our family & friends, our work and anything else that may be interesting.
