Alouette Lake, Golden Ears Park, BC

Located only 15 minutes from home, Golden Ears Provincial Park offers untouched, mountain trails, glacier fed lakes, camping, boating and more. We launch our boat in the tourist area of the park and then head 15 or so Km. up Alouette lake to our sandy beach at the North tip. Total seclusion.

Looking North from the boat to the narrows Dave on the boat at our sandy beach camp zone HOW NOT TO LAUNCH YOUR BOAT! As we were pulling ours out, we got to see some what of a drunken show! Campfire jam session! Alouette Lake at dusk More campfire music with an electric bass guitar plugged into a 12 volt amp which was plugged into the boat 100 feet away!

Sandy beach to ourselves The More of the beach Billy's had a few drinks! This is just before he went scuba diving using the hoses from the boat's airhorns! More of the beautiful views from the lake Melba and Mandy braving the glacier water
