Sharon Myers Squaw Dish



4 pounds of lean hamburger
1 large diced white onion
5-6 diced stalks of celery
1 large diced green pepper
garlic powder
salt and pepper
2 cans of drained whole kernel corn
2 cans of tomato sauce
1 cup ketchup(or to taste)

In a large frying pan saute: Hamburger, onion, celery, and green pepper. Season to taste with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
When thoroughly cooked add: corn, tomato sauce, and ketchup.
Stir everything together, and simmer on low for about 40 minutes. Serve right from the frying pan. I suggest Garlic French bread, or corn bread and a tossed green salad for sides.
