About ME

My name is Trijntje (Trink, for short) and I am a physicist/computer weenie for the navy at the Naval Research Lab in your nation's capital, Washington, DC . I'm divorced with one son. I live in Alexandria , VA, in historic Old Town. That means I live in a small row house. It's cozy, convenient (6 miles to work!), and has great access to the Potomac river and the George Washington Memorial Parkway with its trail along the river that goes down to Mount Vernon.
	My son, Matthew, was born in October of 1995 (you do the math to figure out his age when you read this). He's currently in first grade and is a great kid. Stay tuned for a page just for him.
	Some of the things I like to do when I'm not at work are ride my bicycle and motorcycle, paddle about in my kayak, and generally give my boyfriend Bob a hard time. I've recently been SCUBA certified and in the last three years I've started skiing again with a passion. The antics of our past years can be found in my New Year's letter (2003), which I try to send out instead of Christmas cards.
