Conclave Dress Code

At all times during the Conclave, participants should be encouraged to wear full class "A" uniform. During some parts of the Conclave, Participants are permitted to wear a class "B" uniform. These occasions include sports and ceremonies, lunch, and free times. Keep in mind, however, that during assemblies, breakfast and dinner, training, religious services, and for all of the shows, Arrowmen must be in class "A" uniform, he or she will be asked to return with the necessary articles.

Participation Booklets

Each Conclave participant will be supplied with a "Conclave Booklet" containing the schedule, event locations, code of conduct, dress code, campsite assignments, etc. This booklet will also be the Arrowman's meal ticket. It is vital that the Arrowmen have his booklet with them to be admitted to meals and to receive the participation award.

Meals

Due to the large size of the Conclave, we will be eating in shifts Saturday breakfast and dinner. You will find which shift you are eating in your "Participation Booklet." There will be a Friday night cracker barrel, Saturday breakfast - lunch - dinner, and Sunday breakfast. Section Officers and staff members may eat when their responsibilities allow.

Parking

Parking is limited to designated parking lots only. Arrowmen will be allowed to drop off gear near camp sites but cars must be moved, immediately after unloading to a designated parking lot. Special driving and parking permits will be issued as necessary, please contact the service lodge for more information.

The Order of the Arrow is a group of honor campers. Part of being honor campers is camping. Please don't bring RVs for there is no place to put them. And stress this to your lodge.

Alcohol and Illegal Substances

The use or possession of these substances while on property of the {name} High School District is not permitted in any way. We will strictly follow these rules and enforce all local, state, or federal laws where violations involving drugs are reported.

Tobacco

As of 1996, the BSA policy on the use of tobacco is as follows: "Adult leaders should support the attitude that young adults are better off without tobacco and may not allow the use of tobacco products at any BSA activity involving youth participants." Use by adults in camp is highly restricted to areas where Scouts will not see the use at any time. This will be {designated locations go here}. Please notify your guests of our policy.

Newsletter

Information booths will be located at key locations throughout the Conclave site. They will house up-to-the-minute information on events, locations and times. Stay tuned.

First Aid

All injuries at the Conclave, no matter how minor, should be reported and taken care of ASAP. A nurse will be on duty at the First Aid Station {at location ???}.

Independent Trading Post

In addition to the official Conclave trading posts, there will be several independent consignment trading posts to the Conclave. These range from just selling one or two items in our trading post to actually setting up a small booth outside. If you have any questions about an independent trading post, contact a section officer or the service lodge.

Check-Out

After the closing ceremony on Sunday, you are asked to assist in camp wide clean-up and cleaning up your lodge campsite. If your lodge assignment is in dire need of clean up (i.e. sandpainting) please make sure it's taken care of. Trash bags will be supplied to each lodge. Remember a true Scout leaves camp looking better than he found it.
