This section is based on an article by Tim Christie, A Peak Bagger's Guide to Tasmania, The Tasmanian Tramp, 1968:18 and modified by Geoff Morffew, Peak-Bagger's Guide revised, The Tasmanian Tramp, unknown issue.
Peaks are grouped into geographical areas and then by descending height.
Each peak scores between 1 and 10 points based on notability (or notoriety!), height, accessability, walking time, scrub, rocks, height to be climbed, tracks and proximity to other peaks. The list includes 412 peaks with a maximum score of 838.
The rules are simple: the actual summit much be reached and peaks may only be counted once.
Lets see how you score! Check the boxes then click 'total points' at the end to see your Peak Bagger's score and rating. You can also check your points for each area.
Happy Peak Bagging!
