Ms.Andrea Oikawa She is Mr.Oshio's E-mail friend and lives at Calgary in Canada
Mr.Shuhei Oshio He is working at Sumitomo Metal Ind. Ltd.
Mr.Souji Ishimoto Same as above.
Mr.Makoto Taga I have just retired a job at the end of Sep. 1999.

'Mr.Oshio made this wonderful mountain plan with Ms.Andrea Oikawa by the way of many E-mail communication. However, only many E-mail does not success this wonderful mountain plan usually.

I dare to say that Mr.Oshio and Ms.Andrea had the special kindly and beautiful heart. And then, the most important is the both people's trust.

At the early morning 05:15a.m. , I started from my home in Sasebo city by my car and arrived at 6:55am.to Mr.Ishimoto's home in Saga city. At that yesterday night, Ms.Andrea came to Saga city and stayed at Mr.Oshio home with his family. Above-mentioned four peoples met each other at Mr.Ishimoto's home and started for Mt. Kujuu at 7:20 a.m. ,riding into Mr.Oshio's large family-car.

We passed through the Saga-Yamato interchange and Kyushu High way . I tried to speak English at many times in the car , but my English is so called "Japanese broken- English". At the every times after my speaking, I said to Ms. Andrea." did you catch my points? ". and then, she said kindly that it was good with smile. (Is that so?)[yes it is! AO]

We took off the high way at interchange of Kokonoe . 2/2 The weather condition of mountains area was very nice fortunately ,as the photograph show. The mountain over there in long distance is Mt. Aso in that photograph. This mountain is erupting at the present and has the largest "caldera" in the world. The length of the caldera's circumfence is about 100 kilometer. There are rail'ways, stations, loads etc. in the "caldera". Therefore, this mountain is very famous in the world as you know.

We started the walking from Makinoto on the Yamanami skyline, located at 1330m height. Each members including Ms. Andrea used the wind breaker which was prepared at each home in advance because the wind was so high.

We saw the very beautiful red leaves at Mt.Kutsukake as Mr.Oshio's photograph show at the top of this page. All members including me went to Kujuuwakare, located at the about 1650m height from the sea level. We left temporarily the unnecessary equipment and fitted at this place. Three peoples except me reached to the top of Kijuu ahead of me, because they were younger than me. However,at last,I reached to the top of the mountain in a few minute later . The scenery at the top of Mt.Kujuu was wonderful. We opened the lunch box at the rather plain place near Kujuuwakare. And we cameback to the Saga on the same route by Mr.Oshio's safety driving.

We had a dinner on the SHIP in Sumou resutaurant of Saga. (Yes, on the ship!). The locomotive carried the foods for the guest(Yes, locomotive!). After the dinner, we went to the Mr.Ishimoto's home in the mansion and talked to each other till the midnight.(Of course, I spoke the Japanese-Broken English.)

At the next early morning , a balloon was flying in the clear sky .'
