Trip Report - Mano Of the five high points we visited as part of a trip - South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida - this was clearly the most impressive, with 360-degree views of distant hills, valleys and lakes even in distant North Carolina. The walk up to the summit from the parking lot was sufficient to warm us up. The observation tower was closed and there was some ice on the wooden steps leading up to the deck. The rather steep two-mile drive up is paved and well-marked.
