![]() Welcome to Pineview Reservoir This reservoir is situated on the Ogden River just west of Huntsville, Utah.
It is managed by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources as a warm water
fishery. It has in it Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie,
Yellow Perch, and Tiger Muskellunge (Muskie). The State record Muskie was pulled
out of here at 54". There is run by the US Forest Service and there are two
US Forest Service Campgrounds located on the south shore. At the Middle Inlet is
a swim area and on Cemetery Point is a day use area. On the West side is a
marina. This is heavily used by recreationalists due to proximity from the
Wasatch Front (Ogden and Salt Lake). The DNR patrols this water heavily due to
the traffic to help it stay safe. This reservoir freezes yearly and makes it
nice for a quick getaway for some ice fishing. The fishing can be fast and you
can limit out within a couple of hours. |
