This is my second-favorite of my Scorps, all-original 1969 Scorpion Mark III 400. Yep, the widetrack with a 372 Sachs single. I bought this sled in Michigan's upper Penninsula near Arnhiem this summer while on vacation. (yeah, of course I had to take my sled trailer on vacation!) I wouldnt have even seen it except that a severe wind storm the night before blew the tarp off it in the owner's yard and I saw it. By bypassing the in-frame steel gas tank and riggin up a fuel system to a gas can, two pulls and the 'ol girl fired right up and sat there and idled away! The seat, backrest, and hood on this one are in unbelievable condition, and look like new even though they're 30 years old.
