This is my 1969 Sears 309. I got this machine last year while out cruising around, spotted it in a yard, and when approached about selling it the owner basically said "get it out of here!." So I went home with yet another restoration project! Like my '75 Scorpion, this one looks rough in the photo, but there actually is nothing more than very minor surface rust on it. It's 100% there, I just had the skis off to refinish them and find new wear bars. It has a 309cc Kohler single-cylinder, and WOW does this thing re-define the word compression! This one is a restoration I'm looking very much forward to completing and riding for the first time.
