One beautiful thing about the annapurna circuit is the sometimes vaguely intact Buddhism that you encounter. I grew to love walking into villages, past their mani stones and prayer wheels, and especially prayer flags. There is something about the whole religion that seems so "right" for the people and environment that you encounter here. This is a wall and carved stones, opposite Annapurna II.
