The trip to Minnesota this year was a success. There were enough people to have two patrols. One started in a northern direction and the other in a western. The path of the lakes made it so that eventually we crossed paths and headed the way the other patrol had come from.

There was a lot of piece and quiet since motorboats are only allowed on two of the lakes that we were near. Each group covered over 50 miles earning the 50 miles afloat award. For some of the time, one of the patrols lashed their canoes together and made a sailboat to ease the paddling.
