Global Campsite
is sort of an off-shoot of Global Campfire, Global Campfire
is an on-line club for members, which in our book means
anyone involved in scouting/guiding, or those who
appreciate the movement, or the great outdoors; At the club, we share information,
and discover what scouting is like aroud the world, all the differences
and similarities. Currently it is one of the biggest Scouting Clubs in
Yahoo!, and it definitely is the MOST ACTIVE.
This mission statement for the site is :
For Members, By Members, Connecting Members Globally"
And that basically is what the site is about. 'Anything else ??'
Well, that's just Phase 1
What we have so far is just an icebreaker. As more people sign-on i.e. register
their sites, we hope to expand and start activities
which scouters from around the world will contribute to. Such contributions
may be part of a world friendship/awarness badge/patch, if your association has one.
But before you go ... If you would like to join the team working DIRECTLY on the site,
i.e., join the CampStaff, email CrashAid, the site's
founder.

To bring about this the Global Campsite contains -:
All scouting associations world-wide encourage world friendship;
that is the fundamental aim of this site.
The mission statement does state 'members' and I am only one person.
What this means that there is more than ONE person working on this site,
and we will take on board any suggestions, ideas, criticisms, etc. from anybody.
