Five different groups are in this picture taken on the Victoria long weekend in May 2000 at the Barracks site at Fort MacLeod, AB. Riders of the Plains (Red tunics, tan breeches and white helmets), 9th Battalion Rifles (Blue tunics), Midlanders (Red tunics and Blue helmets), Cochrane Fast Guns (Cowboy outfits), and N.W.M.P. Commemorative Association(Red tunics, blue breeches, pillbox hats).


You just never know when someone is going to show up and stick a camera in your face...

Of course, having fun isn't the only reason we do this. It also gives us a chance to be actors! The next four pictures were taken at a movie shoot at Batoche N.H.S.

This is a view of twenty of the twenty-seven W.C.R.A. members from five different groups; Riders of the Plains, Midland Historical Volunteers, 45th Victorian Regiment, 65th Mount Royal Rifles, and the 9th Battalion Rifles (Voltigeurs).
