Here's a picture of the house I'm selling. When we found it, it looked so sad and lost! It had waited empty for us for years and years. It has the original warm yellow-pine wainscoating (and you can't find yellow-pine any more!) handsome old hardwood floors with fancy brand-new in-floor heating, since we wanted to save the elegant four-foot high wainscoating. Other period features include: an ornate wood-burning stove, an antique enamel kitchen stove, four-panel doors, and a sunrise ornament on the face. We added an upstairs; all the work was lovingly and painstakingly done by Roger, he's a contractor and lives in the house too. It's on a half acre of land right in town, on historic Silver Street. E-mail me if you want any more information about it!
