40th Company
40th Company
The above picture is the whole members of our company in the past year. We are the Boys' Brigade Hong Kong, 40th company. We have experienced God's gracefulness for ten years.
I am the officer sit on the left-most side of the picture. The officer beside me is my partner for the company section. The second one from the right side of the picture is our captain, Miss Amy Chow. Can you see a big officer on the right next to our captain? He is a fireman. He and our captain is for the junior section. He is also responsible for the check up of all the members' fitness of our company.
Ten years before, there were several brothers and sisters had the same sense. The teenagers in a temporary housing area needed to know God and should be taught how to love themselves and the others. So they trained themselves to be the officers of the company. Then they received about 20 children as the junior section of 40th company.
Ten years after, the boys grew and became some kind and self-confidence young men. They are now the company section boys. We have seven company section boys/girls and fifteen junior section boys/girls.
Thank God. Please pray for our company. We hope there may be many brothers and sisters to become officers. Thus we can receive many members in the future.
We have a happy day on 17th November 1996.

Although we are younger, we also have good discipline as the company
boys. We are the junior section boys and girls.

For the 10th anniversary, we invite the brothers & sisters in our church to go wild camping with us. This is the first time of wild camping for most of our friends.

| This is a program called "Pioneer engineering" We have to "cross" to the opposite side if the river with the help of a rope and then step on a tree. The pioneers of the amy use this method to cross the river and then prepare for the way for the troop. | |

| Campfire is the most exciting and attractive program in each wild camp. After the fire has been burnt, we sing the campfire songs to start the program, "Campfire burning, campfire burning, draw nearer, draw nearer...." | There is one and only one store at our campsite owned by two old
couple. We can have very delicious "bean
curd flower" (Tofu Fa, ¨§»Gªá) as the snack. |

| This is our tradition to treat one of our boys before we go home

After two days' happy time in the camp site, it's time to go home.
